Classes and Events

We offer many learning opportunities for beginner and advanced anglers, as well as social events!

Thursday 8/2 at 5:30 PM: Tying Cork Bugs - $20

We will be shaping, painting, and finishing a cork bug (CK Bug style). Price includes all tools and materials. Bringing your own vise is recommended but not required.

Saturday 8/17 all day: Panfish Tournament - Free

It's hot, it's muggy, most fish are sluggish and so are you. Let's break up the summer with this event. Registration is free. Click here to register and more details.

Saturday and Sunday 8/24 and 8/25 PM Noon to 4 pm each day - $150

This class is designed for first timers and beginners. We cover fly casting, knots, fish behavior and targeting, catch and release practices, safety, gear, knots, and more! 8 hours of instruction, class size is of 6. Participants receive a 20% off coupon for any single purchase in the shop within a month of the class.

Sunday 9/22 - On-site Inshore Saltwater Class (booked full)

Capt. Wayne Macmasters, Capt. Simón Valencia, Capt. Reid Parker, and Capt. Keegan Lemcke work together to provide an amazing experience. 4 hours of class, 4 hours of guided trip. Class is designed for intermediate and advanced anglers looking to dip their toes in the salty stuff.
