Classes and Events
We offer many learning opportunities for beginner and advanced anglers, as well as social events.
November 21st 2024, 6 pm to 9 pm - Social Tying and Tying Class at Triple Crossing Fulton Hill
Tying Class: 6 pm to 7 PM, $15 includes Materials, RSVP required.
Social Tying: 6 pm to 9 PM, free.
November 30th 2024, 10 am to Noon - Casting Clinic - $15
RSVP Required, equipment provided if you don't have your own. Shields Lake at Byrd Park. Class size is 6.
December 14th 2024 - Beginner's Trout Comprehensive at Escatabwa - $350
Taking the format from our Inshore Saltwater Class, we will be doing half-day class, half-day fishing. Class includes lunch, access to Escatabwa, guide fee, rod if needed, leader, tippet, flies, and teaching materials. Max class size is 8 anglers. Does not include waders.
October 19th, 2025 - On-site Inshore Saltwater Class - $450
4 Saltwater guides with their boats, 8 guests. This class has become our favorite day of the year. We will discuss species and tactics and develop an understanding of inshore saltwater fishing for 4 hours, have lunch, and head out for a half-day guided trip chasing an inshore slam (Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Striped Bass). Saltwater Licenses, tackle, boat expenses, guide fee, learning materials, and lunch are included.
