Classes and Events

We offer many learning opportunities for beginner and advanced anglers, as well as social events.

 

Thursday May 15th, 6 PM to 9 PM Fly Tying Class and Social Tying - Triple Crossing Brewery in Fulton Hill

Beginner's tying class 6 to 7 PM. Class is $20, includes vice, tools, and material. Social tying is free to attend and will be ongoing simultaneously to the class. RSVP required for class.

 

Thursday May 22nd, 6 PM to 9 PM Fly Tying Class and Social Tying - Triple Crossing Brewery in Midlothian

Beginner's tying class 6 to 7 PM. Class is $20, includes vice, tools, and material. Social tying is free to attend and will be ongoing simultaneously to the class. RSVP required for class.

Saturday May 24th, 2025  am to 4pm - Casting Clinic - $20

This class will focus on the core basics of fly casting. We wil discuss physics, casting styles, and Lefty Krehs principles of casting. Class Size is 6, RSVP is required. Gear can be provided at no extra cost.

 

May 31st and June 1st, Noon to 4 PM each day - Beginners Fly Fishing Comprehensive - $300

This 2 day comprehensive class will cover casting, knots, gear basics, seasonality, safety, targeting techniques, and fly tying. The goal of the class is to equip new and beginner anglers with the know-how to find success in local waters. We will be focusing on the Striped Bass and Shad run.

October 19th, 2025 - On-site Inshore Saltwater Class - $450

4 Saltwater guides with their boats, 8 guests. This class has become our favorite day of the year. We will discuss species and tactics and develop an understanding of inshore saltwater fishing for 4 hours, have lunch, and head out for a half-day guided trip chasing an inshore slam (Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Striped Bass). Saltwater Licenses, tackle, boat expenses, guide fee, learning materials, and lunch are included.
