This rod is a staple on a lot of the guided trips. It is our choice for Redfish, Striped Bass, and throwing big bugs for Bass, Bowfin, and Snakehead in an 7 to 9wt. Bull Reds, Cobia, and Tarpon get 10 to 12 wt. It has a ton of pick up ability, wildly accurate, quick distance, and light. The rod shines in the hands of more advanced casters or casters that have a lot of power in their stroke.
