This is our go to sinking line for Striped Bass and Shad during their spring run. The line casts big flies very well and the sinking rate is aggressive yet manageable. The Head sinks at 7 IPS, mid section 5 IPS, and handling section 3 IPS. This keeps the fly line off the bottom and less snagged on rocks.
